ESSCO has designed a motor power cord cable protector for use in areas where the pumpage attacks the power cord, seal elastomers and motor O-Rings, but does not attack the metal components of the motor. Figure 1 shows a 316 SS cap with polyethelene tubing and 304 SS trim. With the power cords encapsulated and sealed at both ends the cables are securely protected. Each application is considered carefully and all motor elastomers are reviewed for compatibility. In many instances special mechanical seals and seal elastomers are selected for their chemical resistance. In addition the motor O-Rings are reviewed for both chemical and heat resistance. ESSCO endevors to provide the user with the most reliable pump and motor possible.
